Grading with a Rubric in SpeedGrader
Rubrics added to an assignment appear right inside of SpeedGrader when grading the assignment. Rubrics can have criteria with ratings and point values attached, or allow for the instructor to write freeform feedback within the rubric.
Instructors can use the rubric as non-scoring, so it simply provides guidelines for students to complete the assignment, and for the instructor to grade. Or, the rubric can be used to calculate the student’s grade, helping to assure consistency in grading.
