Creating Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Assignments

As an instructor, you can create a document that you would like your students to fill out or complete. When you attach that file to a Canvas assignment using the Office 365 Cloud Assignment external tool, each student receives a copy of the file in their OneDrive, can complete the file, and submit the file back to you for review and feedback.

Create a new Microsoft Office Cloud Assignment

1. 1. Create an Assignment.
  2. Choose External Tool, then Office 365 Cloud Assignment.
  3. Choose the file from your OneDrive and attach.
  4. Select Select.

Remember, you cannot test Office 365 Assignments in Student View because the Test Student does not have their own One Drive.
